Hello Everyone! o/

This is my first game ever. I hope you enjoy this sneak peek!

I’m using this page as an alpha test hub — the goal is to gather feedback, iterate quickly, and improve the game with the community as development continues.

This project currently includes AI-generated content (some art/assets). If the project earns enough support in the future, I plan to replace everything with human-made artwork and fully original, commissioned assets.

Threadweaver is a 2D top-down, Vampire Survivors–inspired roguelike about weaving fate into weapons.

You start each run with a signature ability, then grow into a monstrous build by choosing upgrades that split into two branching paths (A/B). Your picks don’t just “add stats” — they shape what you evolve into, letting the same base ability become wildly different endgame forms from run to run.

Expect:

  • Branching evolutions: commit to Path A, Path B, or mix them to craft your own final ability identity.

  • Juicy swarm combat: carve lanes, burst packs, and watch chain reactions stack as your kit comes online.

  • Run progression & stats: track your performance and build outcomes after victory or defeat.

  • Dark-fantasy loom vibe: thread-sigils, blood-forged metal, and fate-stitched relics.

How to play

Use A/W/S/D or click and drag to move your character. Use Spacebar for dash.

Alpha test notes

This is an alpha, so balance, pacing, UI, VFX/SFX, and content are actively changing. Some abilities may be rough, some values will be off, and you may hit bugs.

Feedback I’m looking for

  • Which upgrades feel exciting vs. “boring numbers”?

  • Are Path A / Path B choices clear and meaningful?

  • Does the difficulty curve feel fair (early/mid/late)?

  • Any bugs, softlocks, or performance hiccups?

If you enjoy the direction, please leave feedback (even short notes help a ton). ❤️

* If you’re the creator of any asset currently appearing in the game and you don’t approve its use, please contact me and I’ll remove/replace it as soon as possible.
